Nokia 1 : Pros & Cons

Nokia in recent years has been on top when talking about durability and also one of the hugest phone manufacturers in the world. Starting with the Windows Nokia brand have switched gradually to Andriod.
Though it was launched in 2018, Nokia 1 is a nice phone produced by reformed company HMD Global.
It has many exclusive features you would like to check out :

Key features
4.5-inch screen size
1GB RAM storage

Many phones are talked about on what they can't do instead of what they can do, Nokia 1 is not excluded.
It's 4.5 inches, 480 x 854 screen size, 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M chipset, with 1GB RAM storage and 8GB of internal storage.
It also has a 2MP front camera and 5MP back(rear) camera. After all these specifications I know you'll be awaiting the next features.

Design
Plastic design
A Battery that is removable

Though the phone does not have any touch of metal. There is polycarbonate frontage ad backplate, without any fancy design on it which is quite cool.

The back cover of the phone is removable, thereby exposing the microSD card slot straight away, the nano sim card and 2,105mAh battery are also included.
Its removable battery makes it easier for users to replace Sim cards, SD cards and Battery for other purposes, not to forget that too much removal of the battery affects the capacity.

Screen
4.5-inch,218 pixels per inch
Low brightness

For external happiness, a quality smartphone display is required, though it has 1080p panel the Nokia 1 doesn't come close. Talking about color accuracy and brightness, it is better not talking due to its poor features. It's a bit dim and less visible when outdoor under the lighting condition.
The colors are not cool, the absence of a 'night light' feature is worse. Though you can't ask too much from a low priced phone.

Battery life
2,150mAh battery
Removable power pack

Looking at the standard of the most smartphone today it's obvious they range within 2,150mAh. In our day to day activities, Nokia 1 battery endures a lot. Thereby saying communication through emails, messages and chatting every 45-minute in the morning and evening reduce the battery life to a bit below average. That's saying those who use phone lightly would enjoy it better. The removable back cover makes it easier to swap drained battery to fresh new ones.

Camera
5MP back(rear) camera
2MP front(selfie) camera

A 5MP back camera and the 2MP front camera is a bit manageable. It also has a flash and autofocus that makes the camera concentrate on the object of your choice. Muted Colors, and non-existent dynamic range - without HDR. As for the selfie camera, one should not talk much due to its poor performance. Not to forget the pictures taken with such camera has poor quality.

Interface and reliability
Runs Andriod Go
1GB of RAM - limits the opening on multiple apps

Though Android Go edition has been launched years ago, the OS has speed and efficiency. Nokia 1 uses the Oreo version (v8.1). DUe to its Go edition, Google prompt users to download the 'Go' edition of apps, eg Youtube Go, etc.
Notwithstanding, the 1GB ram discourage users from running large apps and it also reduces the efficiency of the phone, thereby making it process tasks slower. The Andriod Go also frustrate users because most games will remain unplayable. Beyond these, User Experience (UX) can be more frustrating because the more apps opened the more it lags and get slow.

Performance and benchmarks

Apps take a little less to open
Multi-tasking isn't that possible

Taking into consideration, it seems running the Andriod Go is too much for Nokia 1. For general users opening 2 apps at a time prove to be an issue. It is highly recommendable heavy phone users can't make use of Nokia 1.
There are also many issues of quality with the 'Go' versions of certain apps though it's a bit smaller in size all the main app features aren't included. Intended to be less resource-intensive versions of their counterparts, some functionality is restrictive y in order to meet this goal.
