Huawei's Honor 20 Lite is an average budget smartphone. The camera has more features which are beyond our expectations looking at the price tag. Though, Honor is Huawei sub-brand. It has a triple camera setup which is quite common in top-tier smartphones.
It has a large screen size with little size bezel. The shiny back brings beauty to the phone. It also has an embedded fingerprint scanner at the back. The triple camera setup is also AI-assisted which makes it easier to take nice photos.

Honor 20 Lite has a screen size of 6.21-inch. It has little bezel with a shiny back, the phone is equally divided. It has a notch called the 'teardrop'. It weighs up to 160g and it's 8mm thick. The volume keys are placed at the top right edge of the phone, and the fingerprint is a bit high it requires a little bit of stretch for your finger to get there. At the bottom, it has micro USB-C and headphone socket. It's a bit annoying to see Huawei switch to micro USB-C instead of the normal USB-C used my latest smartphones.
It has a screen resolution of 1080x2340, Full HD+ which is quite impressive. The screen-to-body ratio is 90%.

The battery capacity is really something to worry about, it has a battery capacity of 3,400mAh. Even though it has small battery capacity we expected the battery to last a little bit. It can last a whole day for average users, but it's not recommended for heavy users. Mobile gamers and social media addicts would find it hard to use the Honor 20 Lite due to its fast draining and low capacity. The most dissatisfying part of the battery specification is its wireless charging. Honor 20 Lite does not support wireless charging, but it does support fast charging which is as fast as we expected.

The triple-camera setup - 24MP, 2MP, 8MP. The second one is the depth of detecting sensory. It the Honor 20 Lite Allis you to zoom in with a digital effect, a factor of six but the images was taken are really noisy. The main sensor which is the 24MP has an aperture of f/1.8 and the 8MP wishes angle lens which isn't any different from the P30 Lite. Due to the virtual button at the viewfinder, it is easy to switch to the 120-degree wide lens.
AI-assistant is really important. It gives proper adjustment to photos taken when toggled on. The images are well balanced and a little bit detailed than the normal.
The camera is pretty good butt to does not get enough exposure, ghetto images are a bit blur in light. The tuning of the photos is really nice.
The selfie camera is quite better. It has a 32MP. It also has AI assistant and HDR capabilities which isn't any different from the back camera. The images taken are decent for social media use. If you're a social media addict, then you can go with Honor 20 Lite camera.

The Honor 20 Lite comes with 4GB RAM which is quite small and internal storage of 128GB which is enough to store your music, movies, etc. It is large enough, but you still have to keep an eye on the storage such as movie freaks that love watching high-quality movies. It takes junk of space in your storage space, we recommend you go for compressed high-quality movies which can be gotten from popular download sites. Its storage can still be expanded with a microSD card so if you really think you can fill up those space quickly, then you should get a microSD card for backup storage.
Interface & Performance
Android 9 (Pie)
We're really impressed Honor 20 Lite runs on the latest operating system for mobile which is controlled by Google. We expected Android Q at first, looking at the price tag. EMUI 9.0 is much better than its predecessors, it is more fluid and has more advantage, giving users the ability to change the phone settings and appearance to their own choice. The User Interface doesn't have many designs, the icons aren't much different from that of iOS. The disappointing things about the EMUI are the bunch of duplicate pre-installed apps it came with. The user has to take his or time figuring out those duplicate apps and uninstalling them.
The performance isn't that bad either. It barely lags when large apps are launched. Playing online multiplayer games are a bit slow but isn't as slow as its counterpart.
Verdict
Huawei Honor 20 Lite, is really good looking at the budget. It has triple-camera setup and a whopping 128GB internal storage. The camera isn't as poor as its counterpart having the same price tag. The battery can last all day long for an average user. The phone is really worth its price tag. Trust me it's a phone to go for if you have a low budget.
